Isn’t slow decorating wonderful? And I mean that literally. I am full of wonder over the cozy look I’ve created with second hand and curb picked items. There’s been a lot of talk about the coming shortages in the world but we certainly aren’t going to be short of stuff--it’s everywhere!
I have fallen in love with slow decorating :). I totally agree about the cozy look and the magic that comes with remembering the story behind almost every item. No shortage of stuff for sure! Just walk through any antique store or estate sale.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am also beginning to question the true value of Amazon Prime in my life after massively overspending on "sales" during Prime Day and realizing that I didn't really need much of what I ordered. Not to mention the wasted time scrolling, shopping, reading (probably fake) reviews. I have been feeling a bit guilty about my Amazon use for a while now but have justified it with how busy my life is and how difficult it is for me to run errands in-person with 2 young kids. That being said, I just got an email from Amazon that some children's cups I ordered at least a year ago have been recalled due to lead content...and it made me wonder about the quality of all the other things I have bought at rock-bottom prices. Yikes. I will definitely be considering your post as I consider how to move forward with Amazon and household purchasing.
I hope you discern something that brings peace to you and your family! I'm sorry to hear that about your children's cups...how disappointing and worrying. It's hard when you have little ones...I know. I've found it's getting harder to navigate Amazon and weed out bad or counterfeit products at all.

This is going to give me something to think about…
Hahahaha I was thinking about you as I wrote this, Hunter 😂😂. Keep me posted.
I’ve broke up with one major retailer already this year. I’m not sure I can do a second. But I like the idea…
One this year, one next year...there's no rush 😆 but I get it. If someone suggested breaking up with Costco I think I'd be up against a brick wall.
